One man who fought with his ex-wife and attacked her, to later get involved in a lawsuit with his neighbors, he was beaten to death when confronting the group that defended the woman.
The events occurred in the graphic arts colony There, Francisco Javier Peralta, arrived at the house of his ex-partner, Norma Guadalupe, on Roa Bárcenas street, and attacked and insulted her and then took her out of the house.
Neighbors defend assaulted woman
Neighbors from the next house, who were in the middle of a party, asked him to shut up and leave the woman alone.
In response, Francisco smashed the mirror of a partygoer’s car, causing eight people attacked him with a bare fist but some others with sticks and tubes, until they left him unconscious.
When he lay motionless on the ground, someone called the police, who called for paramedics. A SAMU ambulance arrived at the site but upon reviewing it they diagnosed that he had already died.
Possible homicide suspect arrested
The agents interviewed the sister of the attacked woman, who said she did not know what had happened and only saw her brother-in-law on the ground when she left her house. He also said that Francisco Javier and his sister had a conflictive relationship.
People who were at the site told the police that one of the victim’s aggressors was in the vicinity, so, following locating him, they arrested him.
Although they did not find his own weapons or objects to attack, Eduardo Ortiz, 28, was arrested on charges of homicide.
