Budapest: Indian javelin player Neeraj Chopra in the finals of the World Athletics Championships. The final berth was confirmed by throwing a distance of 88.77 meters. Neeraj’s final entry was in the first attempt of the qualification round. Neeraj is an Olympic champion and a World Championship silver medalist.
Neeraj Javelin threw a distance of 87.66 meters in Lucille Diamond League. Neeraj had earlier said that his aim is to achieve the 90m record in javelin.

India has won only two medals in the World Athletics Championships. One of them is Neeraj Chopra. Neeraj’s achievement is in Oregon in 2022. A year later, Neeraj is expected to repeat the feat with a gold medal.
