Neelam Munir, the heroine of 2019 hit film ‘Rang No 2’ is coming this Eid with her film ‘Chakar’.
When ‘Wrong No. 2’ was released, no one could have guessed that it would become one of the biggest hits of the year.
In 2020 and 2021, Eid-ul-Fitr was observed due to the global epidemic of Corona and cinemas remained closed.
Now when cinemas are opening on Eid this year, Neelam’s film ‘Chakar’ is coming.
The highlight of the film is that it is not a traditional Eid masala film but a mystery murder story in which Neelam is playing the role of twin sisters.
The first question Independent Urdu asked Neelam Munir in its exclusive meeting was who she is giving a whirl this time.
To this, she replied in her own unique way: ‘I am making everyone dizzy this time because I myself felt very dizzy while watching this film.’
It is quite difficult to play a similar role, so why did he fill this role? On this he said that there is a lot in the film, there is romance, action, curiosity and dancing too, so there is no justification for banning it.
‘Usually we do the same character on one set, but in this film two characters on the same set, different clothes, hair style and I have tried to change my voice in dubbing.’
Neelam said that this film took a lot of hard work. In the story, one sister is a housewife and the other is a star, so it was difficult to handle but fun.
Neelam admitted that initially she refused to do this film, she had a lot of drama work at that time, but when she saw the script of this film and then Nida Yasir herself explained the role, she could not refuse. .
Neelam said that the film also has a very good dance sequence in which many stars of Pakistani showbiz will accompany her.
Some time ago, there was a video of her in which she was dancing on the back seat of the car. That video went viral and kept trending on YouTube for several days.
She said about it that it was her favorite song and she did it with great fun, now she will do it again when she gets a chance.
He said that there is also his dance in the film Chakra, which he hopes people will like a lot.
She said that after this dance, she got several offers to do an item number, but she didn’t want to do it until she liked the song.
Neelam said that having a woman on the set of a film makes a lot of difference and a woman producer like Nida Yasir, it made a lot of difference and made many tasks easier.
Neelam is hopeful that her film Chakra will be a hit as it has content that people want to watch.
When we asked Neelam about her dramas, especially ‘Dil Nawaz’, in which she played a genie, she said she was very happy to be asked about it. He went because he likes that drama very much.
He said that it was agreed with the director that instead of making a scary look, the witch or genie could be made beautiful and it worked because she could not make a crooked face.
He said that he had only three pairs of clothes in the whole drama and acted in a way that was more popular.
She explained that she does not want to repeat her roles, it is very important for her to do something new, something different every time.
Neelam has not done any comic role till date and she wants to do it now, but drama is still her first priority as she says drama is more work and gives a chance to do a lot.

**Neelam Muneer:** Thank you! It feels incredible, especially after such a long break. The energy in the cinemas is going to be electric, and I’m excited for everyone to see ‘Chakar’.
**Editor:** ‘Chakar’ is quite different from the traditional Eid films. Can you tell us about the film and your character?
**Neelam Muneer:** Absolutely! This is a mystery murder story, and I play identical twin sisters which adds a unique twist to the plot. It’s a challenging role because I had to portray two different characters within the same film, each with their own distinct personality.
**Editor:** That sounds challenging indeed! You mentioned that one sister is a housewife while the other is a star. How did you manage the complexities of these roles?
**Neelam Muneer:** It was tough but also a lot of fun! I had to change my voice during dubbing and alter my looks completely, from clothing to hairstyles. However, the mix of romance, action, and dance kept the experience exciting.
**Editor:** You initially hesitated to take the role, but ultimately decided to join the project. What made you change your mind?
**Neelam Muneer:** I was quite busy with drama projects at the time and hesitant about juggling more work. However, when I read the script and discussed my role with Nida Yasir, the producer, I felt inspired and couldn’t say no.
**Editor:** Nida Yasir’s involvement as a producer is interesting. How important do you think it is to have women in key positions in the film industry?
**Neelam Muneer:** Having women on set, especially in leadership roles like Nida’s, makes a significant difference. It brings a unique perspective and fosters a more inclusive environment.
**Editor:** We’ve seen a clip of you dancing that went viral recently! Will we get to see more of your dancing in ’Chakar’?
**Neelam Muneer:** Yes! There’s a fantastic dance sequence in the film, and I hope the audience loves it. Dancing is something I truly enjoy; it allows me to connect with my fans in a fun way.

**Neelam Muneer:** I have received several offers, but I believe it’s essential to choose the right song that resonates with me. I want my work to reflect my passion.
