SIDI BEL ABBES – The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, stressed on Wednesday in Sidi Be Abbes the need to relaunch the National Company of Electronic Industries (ENIE) to enable it to “impose new on the national market”.
During an unannounced visit to the ENIE in Sidi Bel Abbes, the Minister underlined, in a statement to APS, that “efforts must be coordinated between the various management executives of the company in order to reorganize it and to ensure more efficient management so as to enhance the activities of its various production units capable of bringing added value to the Algerian market”.
In this context, he insisted on the need to change the “traditional management model” of ENIE, with the guarantee of “accompaniment, in order to relaunch its production, particularly with regard to the production of televisions, from which it derives its fame, since its inception”, pointing out the importance of “strengthening and reopening the commercial sales units of the company” in all regions of the country, following a stoppage in recent times”.

Mr. Aoun also called for “overcoming all the obstacles facing this national company, which employs more than 1,200 employees, and to support it in order to conclude partnership agreements with various national and even foreign companies, in order to strengthen its financial capacities and to ensure optimal use of its human and material resources”, noting that “there is a strong desire on the part of the current managers of ENIE to advance it and strengthen its position in the market. national”.
The Minister gave strict instructions to draw up an effective work plan to forcefully enter the national market, and to accelerate the progress of the company’s new program, especially with regard to the production of electronic tablets, under the agreement signed with the national education sector.
Mr. Aoun, on the other hand, stressed that “the State does not abandon its economic enterprises and works to support them to be an added value and contribute to the revitalization of the national economy”.
It should be noted that the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ENIE, Baya Kendil, in the presence of management executives to provide them with full explanations on the management of the company, while raising the difficulties hindering its operation and committing to take charge of them.
