EA and developer Criterion Games have officially Need for Speed Unbound unveiled, the latest installment in the NFS series. The game will only be released for current-gen consoles and will not be available for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
As a rookie racer, you start from the bottom and embark on a journey to win the ultimate street race: The Grand. Meanwhile, you fight to recover the priceless car that was stolen from your family’s dealership, which also tore two friends apart. In the single player campaign, you can pull off massive drifts, use your earnings to bet against rivals, and make a name for yourself. You can also fill your garage with souped-up vehicles using a variety of personalization and tuning options.
Need for Speed Unbound appears on December 2, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Pre-orders include a pack of driving effects, decals, license plates, banners, decals and $150,000 in game money for multiplayer. A Need for Speed Unbound Palace Edition will also be available and will include Palace skateboards, custom cars, clothing, driving effects, decals, license plates, character poses and banner graphics. EA Play members can play Need for Speed Unbound starting November 29 with a 10-hour trial with exclusive in-game benefits.
