Game News Need For Speed Unbound: Finally video gameplay and customization!
After leaks of all kinds, Unbound, the next installment in the Need For Speed saga, was the subject of a great presentation by Electronic Arts. Unfortunately, the latter was stingy with gameplay images. Today, this error is fixed!
From customization and gameplay to the program
Despite dozens of leaks and despite the recent presentation by Electronic Arts, Need for Speed Unboundthe successor to NFS Heat, remained very mysterious… well, until today. The publisher has just unveiled a new video (available at the top of the article), where we can see several expected elements of the game, starting with vehicle customization, but also driving.
Let’s start with customization! In Need For Speed Unbound, we imagine that it will once once more be possible to modify its cars from the rims, to the spoiler, to the different liveries that can be created from A to Z. But, you have surely noticed it when the game was revealed on October 6, this Need For Speed Unbound arrives with a unique artistic direction where you can directly see flashy effects integrating the races. During skids or when activating the nitro, effects, such as smoke or Street Art, will occur on the screen to energize the whole. Today, thanks to the short video, we learn that these effects will be fully customizable.
This short extract from Need For Speed Unbound also allows you to see more of the gameplay which seems, like the previous episodes, to give pride of place to drifts. We imagine that performing skids, for example, will fill our boost gauge.
An imminent release
If you are waiting for Need For Speed Unbound with a firm footing, note that it will be available quickly. Indeed, the Electronic Arts and Criterion Games game will be playable on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S before the end of the year, more precisely, from December 2 next. In other words, it will happen quickly.
