For the past few days, information has been pouring in regarding the next Need For Speed. Even today, images have just leaked, and it seems that the game is opting for a brand new artistic direction.

Since the dawn of time or almost, the Need For Speed saga has offered an artistic direction, certainly which is eye-popping, but which remains still and always photo-realistic. Today, with Unbound, the alleged sequel, it might be that the license opts for new visuals.
This is indeed what we can see by observing the few images of Need For Speed Unbound which have just leaked on the web. With Unbound, the license seems to take another turn by offering a more atypical artistic direction which would borrow here and there from many famous productions starting with Jet Set Radio.
Indeed, if we take a closer look at the different images available below, the title would display cel-shading, at least when it comes to the characters. It remains to be seen now if this direction will also be used in game.
