Nearly 600 services were provided by Ciudad Mujer Móvil to women and young people from Ñeembucú

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Women and their families received 592 services provided by Ciudad Mujer Móvil, through a comprehensive approach that seeks to improve the quality of life of beneficiaries in the districts of Villa Oliva and Alberdi, especially in the less accessible areas of the department of Ñeembucú.

168 women and their families from both communities attended, and the event also included a campaign to raise awareness about the #DatingWithoutViolence campaign, which reached 131 young people.

The first day was held at the municipal shed in the city of Villa Oliva, where 74 women were assisted with 301 services in total, with the assistance of several authorities, including Mayor Eusebia Musa. At the Río Paraguay school, awareness of #DatingWithoutViolence was raised.

The second and final day of services was held in the city of Alberdi, with 291 services for 94 women and their respective families.

During these activities, Ciudad Mujer Móvil provided comprehensive services to the community, with medical care, ultrasounds and PAP tests, as well as in the area of ​​violence against women and others that are provided with the support of institutions that accompany this work.

Psychological and legal counselling in the area of ​​violence against women was also provided, while Ministry of Health professionals offered medical care, family planning, and obstetric ultrasound and PAP tests.

Likewise, the National Police Identification Service was in charge of issuing identification cards; the National Development Bank provided advice on accessing loans and the Ministry of Education and Science provided educational games for children.

Likewise, the Civil Registry provided birth certificates; the Ministry of Economy and Finance assisted senior citizens; and the National System of Training and Vocational Education provided advice on the courses offered by the department.

The Paraguayan Indigenous Institute provided indigenous identity certificates; the National Institute for Rural and Land Development provided advice on accessing land titles; and the Ministry of Social Development was involved in the Tekoporã Mbarete program.

These arrivals not only demonstrate the commitment to the well-being of the community, but also the effectiveness of strategies for coordinating inter-institutional and local work to address the needs of the population, the Ministry of Women reported.
