The festival is held annually at the beginning of the new year. Wrestlers are recruited from many localities, competing in 10 weight classes (including 8 men’s weight classes and 2 women’s weight classes) competing according to the Charter approved and issued by the Vietnam Wrestling Federation. .
Successful athletes will be awarded medals, souvenirs and prize money by the Organizing Committee to the first, second and third wrestlers in each weight class. Awarding the Do Athlete Award in the Year of the Dragon 2024. In addition to the main prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded a number of secondary prizes. Along with organizing the traditional national wrestling competition, also at the temple of the Mac kings, a rural market festival of the Mac dynasty also took place.
