Nearly 1,000 cases of monkeypox confirmed worldwide

A month following its appearance and the first case on May 6, monkeypox continues to spread across the world. This Monday, June 6, nearly 1,000 confirmed cases were detected worldwide. A symbolic figure which should be largely exceeded when the cases identified over the weekend are published. Switzerland has 8 cases, far behind the most affected countries.

The distribution in the world. England is the most affected country, with more than 214 cases. Spain (189) and Portugal (143) are two other transmission strongholds.
