XALIMANEWS: Like the entire Tidiane community gathered globally, the Ndiéguène family celebrated yesterday the Night of Destiny marking the anniversary of the revelation of the Holy Quran to the Prophet Mouhamed (PSL). The spokesperson for the Ndiéguène family in Thiès and honorary president of the TA-FATOUL MOUHAMMADIYATOUL ISLAMIYATOU movement took advantage of this night of devotion to deliver from the Gueule Tapée a message of peace to all Senegalese and political actors in particular in a particularly confused context.
The Ndiéguène family commemorated on the night of Tuesday, April 18 the night of Destiny commonly known as Leylatou Qadr. This night, which coincides with the revelation of the Koran on the Prophet Muhammad (PSL), is considered by the Ulemas and Muslim jurisconsults as the best night of the month of Ramadan. According to Serigne Ahmed Cissé Ndiéguène, the Night of Destiny has a special character. “It’s a night of peace and social cohesion and respect for human values, a great night consecrated by the revelation of the Holy Quran,” said the spokesperson for the family of El Hadji Amadou Sakhir Ndiéguène. According to him, it is “an eternal divine message from Allah SWT who sent this message to the incomparable prophet PSL. It is a message of peace that we must live all the time, at all times and for the good of humanity”.
In addition to the message of peace for social cohesion, the spokesperson for the Ndiéguène de Thiès family took advantage of this night to lecture the Senegalese political class. “All that the Lord proclaims in these messages, the message of peace is the strongest and it is the most uplifting message. When in a country, this peace is compromised by the behavior of authorities, populations, power, opposition that put forward elements that have nothing to do with the values of Senegalese society, then there is cause for concern,” said the marabout.
Serigne Ahmed Cissé Ndiéguène believes that social regulators have a great responsibility in this period marked by tensions on all sides, series of arrests and confrontations between populations and defense and security forces. “We do not have the right to remain silent without talking about it, without saying that what is happening now is not the right way”. As such, the spokesperson for the Ndiéguène family invites everyone to “pull themselves together, pull themselves together and try to work so that this peace, which unfortunately is suffering, always remains the bedrock of our society”.
As a reminder, the Ndiéguène family from Thiès had initiated a panel on the sidelines of the Night of Destiny. The work focused on the search for peace, stability and social cohesion in truth and work through the teachings of Sheikh-Al-Islam El Hadji Mouhamed Ndiéguène of Thiès.
