NCIS Los Angeles: an iconic character will return in season 14 – News Séries on TV

Present since the first season of “NCIS: Los Angeles”, actress Linda Hunt (Hetty Lange) had only made brief appearances in seasons 12 and 13 because of the pandemic. The head of HQ will be back soon but you will have to be patient.

The absence of actress Linda Hunt in the last seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles had the fans very worried. Her character Hetty Lange, the head of HQ, being central since the first season. But, good news, she will soon be back in the detective series.

In 2018, Linda Hunt had a car accident which had already taken her away from filming for several months. With the pandemic, the team then decided to remove the 77-year-old actress from the series once more so as not to expose her to the virus and to protect her as much as possible, as explained by showrunner R. Scott Gemmil at the time of season 12.

Linda was away a lot more this season due to Covid and us trying to keep her safe. And then finally, Linda had her two shots, she felt fine, and she came back. She was so happy to be back.”

After being kept away from intrigue, the interpreter of Hetty briefly returned at the end of season 12, then her character left at the start of season 13 in Syria. However, according to TV LineLinda Hunt will make her big comeback in NCIS: Los Angeles on the occasion of season 14, recently commissioned by CBS.

The showrunner added: “Hetty’s story continues. The plan is to continue her next season with a reveal.“A big intrigue therefore awaits the chef who will once more be a regular character in the next episodes of the series.

If the broadcast of season 14 will begin in the fall of 2022 in the United States, in France, the broadcast date of season 12 has not yet been communicated by M6.
