AJ Hale (played by Jonah Ho’okano) has become one of the NCIS: Hawaii team’s most tenacious enemies as well as a fierce rival for Kai Holman (Alex Tarrant). Although they’ve been friends, Hale might well be the downfall of the NCIS agent following setting an explosive trap for the team when the CBS action series returns next Monday.
Both Agent Holman and Jesse Boone (Noah Mills) are caught up in a devastating explosion in the upcoming episode of NCIS: Hawaii, Misplaced Targets.
Once Holman discovers the trap has been set for him, he will embark on a dangerous mission to put a stop to Hale’s plans, which might end in tragedy for the Pearl Harbor Task Force.
An official description reads, “After coming close to a meth lab explosion, the NCIS team learns that Kai has been targeted by his former friend-turned-criminal and must bring him down.
“Lucy Tara (Yasmine Al-Bustami) gets her first big deal aboard her aircraft carrier. »

In a new promotion, the two agents search the abandoned laboratory before realizing that it is trapped to explode.
Later, team leader Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) surveys the scene and determines that Holman was the intended victim.
“This place was set up to explode,” she said. Holman replies, “And I was the target of that bomb. »
Back at headquarters, Holman looks fearful for his life as Hale’s profile flashes on the screens.
“AJ might be following you,” Boone warns his fellow agent.
The trailer then ends with a tense face-off between Holman and his former friend, who warns him, “It ends now. »
Holman has no choice but to surrender when Hale takes aim at him, the agent apparently having no weapon of his own.
Viewers are already worried as the next episode approaches, as it might spell the end of the fan-favorite agent’s presence on the show.

Either Hale succeeds in his mission to eliminate his ex-friend once and for all, or Holman might suffer serious injuries if more traps have been set.
Reactions to the trailer were concerned, with fans predicting that Hale might have more deadly surprises in store later in the episode.
On Twitter, @earplegalcodes said, “That explosion was meant for Kai? ! And he’s being held at gunpoint in his dad’s restaurant by AJ? !

NCIS: Hawaii is unlikely to kill off any of its major cast members at this point in the second season, though the franchise certainly isn’t afraid to surprise fans with a devastating twist.
With any luck, Holman will make it out alive, but the high-stakes promotion has ensured that many fans will follow the show to ensure he emerges unscathed from his final fight.
Season 2 of NCIS: Hawaii continues Mondays on CBS in the United States. A UK release date has yet to be announced.
