NCIS Hawaii: on which French channel will the new NCIS spin-off be broadcast? – News Series on TV

On the occasion of its back-to-school conference, M6 announced the acquisition of “NCIS: Hawaii”, the third spin-off of “NCIS: special investigations” carried by actress Vanessa Lachey.

Good news for NCIS fans! M6 took advantage of its back-to-school conference, organized this Tuesday, June 28, to announce the acquisition of NCIS: Hawaii, the third spin-off of the cult detective series. And following Los Angeles and New Orleans, it is therefore in Hawaii that the CBS teams have decided to settle down. For the moment, M6 has not yet announced a release date.

Carried by Vanessa Lachey (Beverly Hills: BH90210), NCIS: Hawaii follows a team of special agents working at the Pearl Harbor office and led by special agent Jane Tennant, a single mother torn between her professional life and her family responsibilities.

Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills (Sex and the City 2), Yasmine Al-Bustami (The Originals), Jason Antoon (Claws) and Tori Anderson are also in the cast of this new spin-off, which began broadcasting in September 2021 on CBS. A real audience success, with nearly 8 million cumulative viewers, the series was not surprisingly renewed for a second season in March.

A new international version

Just a few months following the launch of NCIS Hawaii, the American platform Paramount+ announced that a new spin-off was in the works. Headed by Shane Brennan, creator and showrunner of NCIS: Los Angeles, this newcomer to the franchise, titled NCIS: Sydney, will take place, as its name suggests, in Australia and will thus be the first international iteration of the series.

For the moment, few details have leaked on this new project except that the series should call on Australian actors and producers, will be filmed in Sydney and will follow local investigations. The launch is expected for 2023 on the platform.

Note that season 19 of NCIS, whose broadcast was interrupted on May 10 following only 14 episodes on the air, will resume from Saturday July 9 at 9:10 p.m. on M6.
