**Joscelyn:** Thank you for having us. For me, the biggest challenge was adjusting to the academic demands while maintaining my training schedule. Juggling classes,assignments,travel,and intense practice sessions demanded astonishing time management and discipline.
**Skye:** I agree with Joscelyn. Balancing academics and training requires immense organization and prioritization. finding time for both while also making time for myself and my well-being was a constant struggle.
**Host:** You both clearly showcase the tremendous dedication required. How did you find support systems to navigate these challenges?
**Skye:** My college coaches and teammates were invaluable. They understood the unique demands we faced and provided unwavering support. They helped me prioritize and create a schedule that worked for both my academic and athletic goals.
**Joscelyn:** Absolutely. My support system extends beyond my college team.My family and friends were always there for me, offering encouragement and understanding when things felt overwhelming.
**Host:** It’s inspiring to see the importance of community in these demanding careers. You both come from diffrent elite gymnastics backgrounds, each with unique experiences and approaches to training.How did your past experiences prepare you for the collegiate surroundings?
**Joscelyn:** My previous experience with intense training schedules under elite coaches definitely gave me a strong foundation in discipline and time management.
**Skye:** For me, having competed in international competitions helped me develop resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure. These skills were crucial in navigating the high-stakes environment of collegiate gymnastics.
**host:** Your journeys are testament to the fact that there is no single path to success. Joscelyn,you opted to prioritize a different training route focusing on intensity and volume,while Skye focused on a more academic approach. Can you elaborate on your chosen paths and the

**Joscelyn:** My decision was driven by my desire to reach peak physical performance along with utilizing college resources for specialized training alongside my studies.
**Skye:** my approach centered around maximizing academic opportunities while still allowing me to compete at a collegiate level. It was about finding the right balance that worked best for me.

**Skye:** Don’t be afraid to be open and honest with your coaches about your individual needs. Remember, their goal is to help you succeed, both academically and athletically. Communicate effectively and advocate for yourself.
