NBI of 2.13 billion dirhams at the end of June 2022

Casablanca – The consolidated net banking income (NBI) of the Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM) group stood at 2.13 billion dirhams (MMDH) at the end of June 2022, once morest 2.18 billion dirhams a year earlier.

This development is essentially linked to the increase in the interest margin and the margin on commission of 11% and 7.6% respectively, explains the banking group in a press release, stressing that these performances made it possible to compensate for the drop in results of market activities due to the impact of the rise in the yield curve.

Corporate NBI amounted to 2.04 billion dirhams, up slightly by 0.2% compared to the previous year, following the good performance of interest margins and commissions which marked respective growth of 12% and 9%, said the same source, noting that these performances made it possible to compensate for the drop in the results of market activities.

At the end of June 2022, the Group increased the outstanding balance of its loans distributed to 107 billion dirhams, once morest 98 billion dirhams at the end of June 2021, an increase of 9%. The outstanding amount of savings mobilized by the group stands at 100 billion dirhams, up 3.5% compared to the end of June 2021.
