The Twin Towers showed their strength, contributing 49 points and 21 rebounds. The Timberwolves beat the Thunder 120-95 at home and advanced to the playoffs with the 8th place in the Western Conference. They will face the first-seeded Nuggets in the first round.

The Timberwolves scored in double figures with 6 players, Karl-Anthony Towns scored 28 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks, Rudy Gobert scored 21 points and 10 rebounds in his comeback; Anthony Edwards scored 19 points and 10 Rebounds and 6 assists.

The Thunder made less than 40% of their two-pointers and three-pointers, and only three scored in double figures. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made 5 of 19 shots, scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Luguentz Dort made 17 Points and 8 rebounds, Josh Giddey made 2 of 13 shots, scored 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Edwards and Towns teamed up in the second quarter to widen the point difference, leading by 10 points at halftime. Gobert scored 9 points and 4 rebounds in the third quarter, helping the Timberwolves continue to widen the point difference. The final quarter led by nearly 30 points, and the game lost suspense.
