NBA Trade Deadline 2023 – what will the Milwaukee Bucks do?

With the NBA Trade Deadline fast approaching, the leaders of the 30 franchises are busy making the necessary transfers before the fateful date of February 9. Of course, the situation of each team is different, and it is specifically for this reason that we wanted to make a special deadline paper by franchise. Presentation of the issues, issues to watch, intentions on the transfer market… we explain everything to you. On the menu today, the Milwaukee Bucks.

THE BUCKS, RATHER BUYER OR SELLER AT THE DEADLINE?

Despite a good third place in the East, we might see some movement on the Milwaukee side at the Trade Deadline. No big deal in perspective but rather small adjustments, reinforcements in positions that would need a little more depth.

We think in particular of the wings, which have suffered a lot in recent months from the absence of Khris Middleton. If the All-Star gradually regains health, it would probably be useful to guard once morest a possible relapse by signing one or more players capable of doing the job. It remains to find something to afford them while the franchise is not very supplied in the first round of Draft (due to the trade of Jrue Holiday in particular).

THE BUCKS PLAYER(S) WHO COULD BE TRANSFERRED

One thing is already recorded in Wisconsin, it is the upcoming departure of Serge Ibaka. Landed last year in Milwaukee, the Spanish interior did not leave a great memory with the Daims. While he is very regularly on the bench, the player and the management concluded that it was better to stop there. The idea is therefore to find him a new home port by February 9.

Another boy who has been mentioned in quite a few rumours: Grayson Allen. The sniper is a counterpart that has already been requested by certain franchises (New York in particular) but the Bucks seem reluctant to part with it. Maybe they are waiting for a better target to consider it. We will also monitor the George Hill case, which is less and less used and whose ending contract (up to 4 million) might prove practical in the next ten days.

THE PLAYERS COVENTED BY THE BUCKS

As announced above, we will look on the wings for possible recruits in Milwaukee. Several names have come up in recent weeks in the media. Eric Gordon, who seems less and less supportive of his life with the Rockets, has apparently already been the subject of an offer (refused by Houston). Veteran, experienced, good shooter, able to provide scoring off the bench, he ticks the boxes.

In a more glue guy profile, versatile, soldier to take to the Playoffs, the Bucks would like to recover Jae Crowder. The pit bull, still in the closet in Phoenix, is impatiently awaiting a departure. Still, the competition is heavy and the Suns will obviously be happy to sell to the highest bidder or at least take the deal that best suits their business.

Finally, the gang at the Greek Freak would be intrigued by the case Cam Reddish, at the end of the runway in New York. Again, several teams might jostle in the coming days for the former Duke nugget.
