Wizards: Jordan Poole, revenge or flop?

– The Suns ended their pre-season on a good note with a prestigious victory once morest the Lakers. If Devin Booker and Bradley Beal were rested, Kevin Durant only needed 17 minutes to score 21 points at 8/14. However, it was Frank Vogel’s replacements who created the gap, notably Saben Lee (17 pts), Yuta Watanabe (12 pts) and Nassir Little (11 pts).

KD and LeBron James, who played 22 minutes for 19 points, will soon face each other for the first time in the regular season in 5 years.

– The Clippers rested Kawhi Leonard and Paul George for the Nuggets reception. Denver took advantage of it, Nikola Jokic in particular, to impose oneself quite easily. The MVP of the 2023 Finals once once more played his part with disconcerting serenity to score 25 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists in 28 minutes. We feel that the Joker is already ready to be the Joker.

Nicolas Batum played 8 minutes off the bench without managing to stand out.

Killian Hayes started for the Pistons in their narrow away victory once morest the Thunder. The French leader, who shared the backcourt with Cade Cunningham, contributed 8 points, 2 assists and 1 block in 21 minutes. No Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the OKC side, but a start for Olivier Sarr, who was rather clean in his 25 minutes of playing time: 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 assist. Ousmane Dieng came off the bench to contribute 8 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist, without really adjusting the sights (2/7).

Also note the good game of Ausar Thompson, Detroit’s top scorer with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 interceptions and 1 block at 5/8.

– The Wolves completed their NBA pre-season with a fifth victory in five matches. Minnesota dominated Chicago, notably thanks to Anthony Edwards (19 pts in 20 min). In this game in which Karl-Anthony Towns and Mike Conley did not participate, Rudy Gobert was in the five and contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

– Frank Ntilikina is the only one of the two French Hornets to have participated in the defeat once morest Boston. The former Knicks leader played 14 minutes without managing to leave his mark on the match (2 pts, 1 rebound, 1 stl, 1 blk). In Boston, on the other hand, all members of the starting five (Holiday, White, Brown, Tatum and Porzingis) played around twenty minutes and scored at least 10 points each, with Jaylen Brown particularly strong (20 pts).

– The Kings will not finish their pre-season without a victory. Sacramento won once morest Utah, with good performances from Malik Monk and Colby Jones coming off the bench (23 and 19 pts). Collin Sexton and Talen Horton-Tucker compiled 40 points for the Jazz, but the Kings finished the game better and took the upper hand.
