The NBA has launched an investigation regarding allegations that Strahinja Jokic, the older brother of Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, hit a supporter after the Nuggets’ win, Tuesday (23/4) WIB.

Entertainment online site TMZ and The Athletic reported that the NBA was conducting an investigation into the incident when the Nuggets rallied to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 101-99 in the NBA playoffs.

Jamal Murray hit the ball late in the game to seal the win for the Nuggets and the incident occurred after the game when Strahinja and Nemanja Jokic, Nikola Jokic’s older brother, were involved in a confrontation with two fans in Denver.

Strahinja was seen throwing a punch that hit his opponent’s head.

TMZ said Denver Police are investigating the incident but so far no one has admitted to being the victim of the beating.

Nikola Jokic’s two older brothers often sit on the sidelines when the Nuggets play, but this could be revoked if they are proven to be involved in the incident.

Nikola Jokic scored 27 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists in the match against the Lakers, Tuesday (23/4) to give the Nuggets a 2-0 lead in the first round of the NBA playoffs, which will continue on Friday (26/4) WIB at the Lakers headquarters . (AFP/Z-1)
