NBA Fans Shocked to Learn Draymond Green Passed Larry Bird on This All-Time Leaderboard

Draymond Green is moving on up.

The 34-year-old drained a pair of three-pointers in the Golden State Warriors’ 125–90 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday at Chase Center, boosting his career total to 650 treys.

That means Green—best known for his defensive tenacity and playmaking abilities—has now passed Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird on the all-time three-point list.

Bird, who was a rookie when the NBA introduced the three-pointer in 1979-80, finished his career with 649 treys on 1,727 attempts (37.6%). He led the league in three-pointers made twice, with 82 in 1985-86 and 90 in 1986-87.

Green is a career 32% shooter from deep, averaging 2.6 attempts per game. Bird attempted at least 2.6 three-pointers per game in just five of his 13 seasons.
