Thanks to an unlikely basket from AJ Griffin at the buzzer, Atlanta and Clint Capela have returned to success. Winning 123-122 over Chicago in overtime, the Hawks ended a 3-game losing streak.
This victory is almost a miracle insofar as the Bulls had taken the advantage 122-121 with 0”5 from the end of overtime. But a masterful pass from Jalen Johnson allowed AJ Griffin to conclude on an alley-oop.
It should be noted that Derrick Jones Jr had missed a free throw in the last moments of regulation time which might have given the victory to Chicago.
