Mrs. Nazik mourned Rafic Hariri as “the brother, dear friend and former Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Farid Makari, who passed away following a struggle with illness.”
And she said in a statement yesterday: “The family of the martyred Prime Minister Rafik Hariri has lost a loyal brother and a dear friend, for whom our dear martyr had all the love, appreciation and respect. The great was his life and his national work, and it was the common goal on which the bonds of friendship that had brought them together over many years of service to the country and the citizen were built.
