Navka spoke regarding Kostomarov’s call from the hospital on her birthday

Turin’s Olympic champion in ice dancing Roman Kostomarov personally called his former partner Tatyana Navka to wish her a happy birthday. About this she informed in your Telegram channel.
“Each congratulation is priceless and very touching for me, but one congratulation due to circumstances was especially unexpected and joyful. Roma personally congratulated, I was extremely glad to hear his voice! – wrote Navka, who turned 48 on April 13.

Kostomarov has been in Kommunarka since January 10, where he was hospitalized due to pneumonia. The head physician of the hospital, Denis Protsenko, said on February 16 that the 46-year-old skater had a total lung lesion on admission due to a viral and bacterial infection with minimal chances of survival.
During this time, Kostomarov underwent several amputations on the hands and feet, as well as two strokes.
At the beginning of this week, sources close to the skater told RBC Sport that Kostomarov had begun doing recovery exercises before prosthetics. It was noted that the recovery process is proceeding in a positive manner.
Kostomarov, paired with Navka, won gold at the Turin Olympics, as well as the 2004 and 2005 World Championships and three European championships.
