On the other hand, Sahar Saeed says that ‘I know that nothing special has been done at the government level for people like us except a disability certificate. What I have seen in my life is that for people like us there is only a quota in the field of jobs or education, on which some people got the facility and some did not.’

According to Sahar, he has seen for the first time that something is being done for special people, but Sahar also had some questions, like ‘When the current government ends, will the incoming government not close this card?’

He asked whether this card will really get to the deserving people or some elements will get their own personal benefits, how will the transparency of this card be ensured?

‘Can’t fit-to-work disabled people be given government jobs so that they can be self-sufficient?’

According to Sahar, if any such job comes at the government level, she will definitely try to get it.

We also asked the Minister for Social Welfare Sohail Shaukat Butt to answer all these questions.

Sohail Shaukat Butt said that this work of welfare has not been done by any government before and the good measures taken for the nation never stop. Such works are the good name of the country and it will continue in the coming times. This card will not be closed.

He said that it is not possible to get the facility of this card to those who do not deserve it.

‘A whole board issues a disability certificate. Apart from this, the physical condition is verified by a 17th grade officer with a team of four persons and a record will be made. Therefore, no compromise on transparency is possible.’

He further said that we are working for those who are fit to work. Will come for

We will accommodate them in government and private institutions, that is, where 33 people are working, one disabled person will also be entitled.

According to him, suppose if a private food chain has 3000 people working in the whole of Punjab, then they will have to give 3% quota to fit-to-work disabled people in the whole of Punjab.

He said that the proposed three percent quota for fit-to-work disabled persons will be approved as soon as possible after which we will start working on it.

It has been proposed to keep a quota of three percent in public and private educational institutions for those with disabilities who want to study.
