“At first we were not allowed to rent a funeral hall to say goodbye to Alexey. Now, when just a funeral service is supposed to take place in the church, ritual agents tell us that not a single hearse agrees to take the body there. Unknown people call all teams and threaten them not to take Alexei’s body anywhere,” Navalny’s associates write.
According to the former head of Navalny’s headquarters, Leonid Volkov, all hearse drivers “are receiving calls from unknown people and threatening them so that they do not take Alexei’s body from the morgue and take it anywhere.” “This is pure madness.
