The negotiation of an amendment to the company agreement intended to adapt it to the New Collective Agreement for Metallurgy (NCCM) having failed at the end of September, the CGT/CFDT/UNSA/CFE-CGC inter-union was waiting to the position of the management of Naval Group.

“In recent days, the company’s external communication, particularly in the press, has been very reassuring, affirming that it is “committed to ensuring that the transition to the new collective agreement goes smoothly”, and that “the social process was following its course and that discussions should continue in the days to come”, recalls the inter-union.

Against all expectations, this Thursday, October 12, 2023, the central union delegates learned that the company had decided to denounce the entire company agreement!

“The CGT, CFDT, Unsa and CFE-CGC trade union organizations denounce this brutal decision which, contrary to its speeches on the quality of social dialogue, demonstrates a deliberate desire by management to cut back on the social guarantees in force since 2004.”

They call on staff to be vigilant and respond to possible calls for mobilization to defend and improve the Naval Group social model.
