AmoKarité is one of the confirmed brands for Naturaltech, the largest natural products fair in Latin America

Against the grain of the traditional cosmetics market, AmoKarité is the first Brazilian brand of solid makeup, 100% natural, vegan, sustainable and at an affordable price. Led by Sté Gustavson and Clara Klabin, the company, which reinforces the conscious consumption of hand-finished and synthetic-free cosmetics, was one of those confirmed to participate in the largest natural products fair in Latin America, Naturaltech, which will take place between June 14th and 17th at the Exhibition Pavilion, in Anhembi, São Paulo.

The annual business meeting will feature more than 80 hours of programming, in four days of event, and exposure of hundreds of brands of natural products, whole foods, probiotics and herbal medicines, among others.

Bringing sustainability into its roots, the fair is the perfect setting for the exhibition of AmoKarité makeup. With a factory located in Gonçalves, in the south of Minas Gerais, the brand has implemented certified paper packaging that is 100% biodegradable in 80% of its products and takes the concept of “zero waste” in production as one of its pillars. “The buying pattern has changed, the number of people with a conscious consumption pattern is growing and who no longer want to buy a plastic product that comes inside another plastic, it is an internal discomfort that has no way back.”, says Sté Gustavson.

In all, the line has 50 product options available, including solid and creamy makeup. Makeup is multifunctional and serves as lipstick, blush, eyeshadow and whatever else creativity allows. The famous “fruits”, being solid, dispense with the use of packaging and the idea is that consumers reuse packaging that would go to the trash, such as glass jars. In production, all pigments are extracted from rocks, and vegetable oils are also used, dispensing with the use of water, enriching the formula and increasing the shelf life of the products. Today the bestsellers are: the nourishing liquid foundation, the creamy lipstick (in pitaya and guava tones), the solid lipstick (in blackberry and strawberry tones), the rosé illuminator, the Banana Translucent Powder, the Watermelon Lip Tint and the lip balm.

Constantly expanding throughout Brazil and soon crossing borders to Portugal and Spain, AmoKarité is also present at BelongBe’s physical store, on Oscar Freire, in São Paulo. Interested in independent brands in the beauty market and reinforcing the concept of a more collaborative world, BelongBe’s purpose is to boost national and independent companies to higher flights.
In addition, AmoKarité has just announced a partnership with Mundo Verde. The partnership is all over Brazil and still in the month of May, in addition to the brand’s virtual store, consumers will also be able to find the products in the chain’s physical stores.
