According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures were traded in August at USD6.70 per million British thermal units at the time of writing, up 8.73%.
It has already been traded high on USD6.80 per MMBtu session. Natural gas may find support at USD6.012 and resistance at USD6.797.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency once morest a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.18% to trade at USD107.72.
Meanwhile on Nymex, the price of August crude oil rose 0.40% to trade at USD96.22 a barrel while the price of August heating oil rose 0.11% to trade at USD3.67 per gallon.
