Natural antibiotics for children
She also recommended the inclusion of the following foods in the diet of children in general, as they have the same therapeutic properties as antibiotics:
Garlic: It contains substances that play a major role in fighting bacteria and viruses, such as allicin, in addition to its ability to strengthen the immune system.
Onions: It resists types of bacteria, such as salmonella, because it contains sulfur and quercetin.
Bee honey: a rich source of antioxidants and anti-microbial substances.
Vegetables: especially hot red peppers, due to their high content of antioxidants, which enhance the body’s ability to fight various types of infections.
Turmeric: It contains curcumin, which is known for its anti-oxidant and infection-fighting properties.
Ginger: Very effective in fighting bacteria.
