Also, Saadeh stressed the danger of smoking, which increases the risk of several diseases, so it is advised to stop smoking and not to drink alcohol excessively (one glass for women and two glasses for men per day).

Saadeh advised paying attention to the quality of food and following a good diet that helps boost the immune system by eating foods with vitamins and beta-carotene, which regulates the immune system and helps protect us from infections (red bell peppers, sweet potatoes, carrots, eggs, broccoli, spinach, mango).

Here is a list of the vitamins that foods contain that increase immunity:

– Vitamin C: stimulates the formation of antibodies, through sour fruits (kiwi, berries, lemon) pandora, red pepper, broccoli…

Vitamin D: It helps regulate many other functions in the cells of your body.
