NATO Winter Training Exercises in Estonia: Military Maneuvers and Security Threats

NATO troops held their annual exercises in cold temperatures in Estonia. This was reported by the ERR state television and radio portal.

“The exercise, called Talvelaager (“Winter Camp”), took place at the Central training ground of the Estonian Defense Forces near the city of Tapa, and more than one thousand people took part in it,” reports the ERR portal. It is clarified that NATO troops practiced maneuvers that were aimed at testing the preparation of infantry and mechanized units for combat in winter conditions.

French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet said that EU countries must have military budgets to provide themselves with the opportunity resist threat from the Russian Federation. US President Joe Biden believes that following achieving the goals of the Northern Military District in Ukraine, Russia may pose a threat to the alliance. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that Moscow has no interest in fighting NATO, reports TV channel 360.
