Although the hosts were very lucky, they ultimately won 2-1, with Andrej Kramarić scoring the key goal. To keep the distance from the leaders, the white and red team had to aim to defeat the Portuguese. However, it was far from that, because at the PGE National Stadium, Cristiano Ronaldo and company won 3:1.

On Tuesday, fans at PGE Narodowy witnessed a match full of twists and turns and marked by mistakes on both sides. The Poles took the lead in the 5th minute after a goal by Piotr Zieliński. However, they only enjoyed the lead for a quarter of an hour. The next few minutes shook the foundations of the White and Reds’ defense.

After the change of sides, Sebastian Szymański equalized the score, and from the 77th minute the Croatians played weakly, after Dominik Livaković was shown a red card for a brutal foul outside the penalty area on Robert Lewandowski.

After four rounds of the Nations League, the Poles have two defeats, a victory and a draw. They are ahead of the Scots, who won their first point only in the rivalry with Portugal, which ended in a goalless draw.
