The men’s national team has received opponents for the autumn games in the UEFA Nations League. When the draw was made in Paris, Sweden was drawn into group C1 together with familiar opponents Azerbaijan, Slovakia and Estonia.
– It is an exciting group with teams that we recognize. If you look at the FIFA ranking, Slovakia is the toughest opponent, but when it comes to matches, the ranking usually doesn’t matter that much. We must make sure we are well prepared and take on this group in a good way, says national team manager Stefan Pettersson.
