The National University of Catamarca signed an agreement with the Catamarca Medical Collegeprojecting actions for the future implementation of the medical career in the province. In turn, the institution signed a similar agreement with the Federation of Clinics and Sanatoriums (FECLISA).
With this objective, the rector, Eng. Oscar Arellano, held meetings with the president of the College of Physicians of Catamarca, Dr. Mauricio Figueroa, and with Dr. Jorge Manuel Saavedra, the president of FECLISA.
The institutions pledged to establish relations of cooperation and reciprocal assistance of an academic, cultural, technological and service nature, which will be made effective through the adoption of common coordination measures in all areas of concern.
Dr. Viviana Quiroga, Secretary of Liaison and RR II, explained that these framework agreements “have the purpose of opening the doors to specific agreements and projects, meeting the needs of the establishment of the Medicine career.”
In turn, the official stressed that “we are advancing steadily with everything that is required step by step” so that the dictation of the race is carried out, with all the steps that this implies. “These are necessary steps, we are going steady, this is going to come to a good conclusion and the Medicine degree at UNCA is getting closer to being a reality.”
