National U-18 baseball team faces ban and fine for non-participation in Asian Championship – Sports

The national under-18 baseball team is likely to be banned and fined for not participating in the Asian Under-18 Baseball Championship. A deadline has been given by Baseball Federation Asia to participate in the event.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Sports Board had barred the national under-18 baseball team from participating in the Asian Under-18 Baseball Championship. However, sources now say that Pakistan Federation Baseball has been given a deadline till Tuesday by Baseball Federation Asia to participate in the event. A respite has been given for participation in the Asian Under-18 Baseball Championship.

According to sources, the BFA meeting was held in Chinese Taipei. In which Pakistan’s non-participation in the championship’s organizing committee meeting was also discussed, allowing the Pakistan team to report by Tuesday morning.

The BFA has sent a message to Pakistan that the BFA Integrity Committee is looking into the matter, and if the team does not participate, heavy fines and bans may be imposed.
