Mbaye Diagne reveals himself without restraint! During an interview for Senepeopleplus, the Senegalese international striker spoke regarding the national team. From his first call-up in 2018 to his absence since March 2021, the 31-year-old has spoken candidly. “My first selection in 2018? It was a moment of joy. I celebrated it with my whole family. We dreamed of becoming like El Hadji Diouf, Henri Camara, Khalilou Fadiga, playing for the national team. They made us vibrate and dance. My call-up to the national team came because I was the third top scorer in all European leagues combined, with 30 goals, just behind Messi and Mbappé. I’m proud of it. It was inevitable to be called up,” said the player, author of 23 goals and 6 assists in the Turkish Super Lig this season.
