National Sports Awards 2023: Winners and Highlights

New Delhi: The National Sports Awards 2023 have been announced. Badminton players Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have been awarded the highest sports honour, Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna. The award was announced by the Ministry of National Sports.

Indian pace bowler Mohammad Shami, long jump player M. 26 people including Sreesankar won the Arjuna Award. Kabaddi coach E. Bhaskara received the Dronacharya award. The award recognizes lifetime achievement. The awards will be distributed at a ceremony to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 9, 2024.
