The Municipal Command of the National Police, in Quilengues, yesterday recovered 24 heads of goat cattle that had been stolen last Friday (4), in the Catala neighborhood.

The data was released today by the spokesperson for the Provincial Command of the National Police in Huíla, inspector Benedito Walter.
According to the source, the fact was reported to the authorities by the owner of the herd on the same day as the theft.
Inspector Benedito Walter revealed that the arrest of the two national citizens, who have already been presented to a judge, took place following an investigation carried out by the National Police.
“The National Police arrested two national citizens aged 18 and 19 years old, on January 6th, of the current year, suspected of having stolen 24 heads of goat cattle on Friday”, he pointed out, adding that “the facts occur through a complaint presented by the owner of the stolen animals to the police authorities, who immediately opened an investigative process, culminating in their arrest and the recovery of said animals”.
On the other hand, our interlocutor revealed that, in the possession of those involved, a seized three-wheel motorbike was found, which the accused used to transport animals from one place to another.
