National pilgrimage of the little Unitalsi, the children’s train leaves –

The presentation of the National Small UNITALSI pilgrimage, scheduled in Lourdes from 16 to 22 May and with the theme “Once upon a time…, but also today”, was held in Rome at the Presidential Hall of the Rome Ostiense station. After years of waiting, the pilgrimage entirely dedicated to children and their families returns to the schedule of departures this season. The journey will take place with a special train that will cross the entire country and accompany around 400 members, including disabled children and patients at Italian pediatric hospitals, to Lourdes. The group will also be joined by the children hosted in the Unitalsi family homes located throughout the area and created as part of the Children’s Project. The pilgrimage was born thanks to the collaboration with a new company which, starting this year, has taken over the provision of services, FS Treni Turistici Italiani. The meeting was attended by Monsignor Liberio Andreatta – President of the FS Italiane Foundation, Rocco Palese – National President of UNITALSI and Luigi Cantamessa – CEO of FS Treni Turistici Italiani. Also present was the national vice-president of UNITALSI Cosimo Cilli.
