NNA – Minister of Culture Judge Muhammad Wissam Al-Murtada announced that “the ministry, in cooperation with the activities of the town of Khiam and friends of the poet Hassan Al-Abdullah, and in accordance with their aspirations and in line with its orientation in appreciating the Lebanese creators, will issue for the late the great the medal worthy of his achievements in the national and cultural fields, and will contribute to the commemoration of his fortieth anniversary.” A literary symposium will be organized on him at the National Library in Beirut to highlight his poetic creations.
He added: “In this context, the Minister of Culture, as he announces the foregoing, recalls the following mourning for our dear poet Abdullah:
A few nights ago, Hassan Al-Abdullah announced his time when death and dead would be extinguished. The most beautiful words I had been waiting for he returned to her, holding two tears and a rose, refusing to slack off in mourning clothes. Leave the ink and the green shrine, to dwell in the light rising from the dust of the south, where vineyards are written by springs, and where tobacco preserves dignity and recites victories. From there he entered the homeland, poetry, feather and color, and remembered that he loved the darn from the beginning of the pulse until the veins dried, just as the poor who lived in his heart and his words did.
