At the conclusion of the meeting, Imam said: “We welcome His Excellency Major General Ashraf Rifi and His Excellency Deputy Jamil Abboud, as distinguished guests of Dar Al-Fatwa. As a result, Rifi said: “After the elections, it was necessary to visit this honorable house with the presence of His Eminence, to put all our capabilities at its disposal, because it is our home and will be a meeting place for all the actors, representatives, activists, or actors from Tripoli, because the situation cannot remain as it is permanently.”

He added, “The parliamentary elections constituted a major step towards change, and we bet that the upcoming presidential elections will establish a greater change. The northerners and the people of Tripoli really need job opportunities, and we have all the ingredients to launch an economic cycle that enables people to live in dignity. Unfortunately, we have a closed exhibition by decision, and a closed refinery.” By decision, and a special economic zone closed by decision, and the airport in Akkar is closed by decision, and it is not permissible for the facilities that cost the most precious to remain idle. Or we agreed on politics, but in the service of Tripoli we will agree no matter what, and we will form one working group, either we succeed or we have no place in politics.”
