NNA – Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam Mawlawi, oversaw yesterday night the launch of Internal Security Forces patrols from the barrack of Martyr General Wissam al-Hassan – the barracks of the motor forces in Dbayeh, in the presence of the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, and the Commander of the Gendarmerie, Brigadier General Marwan Slilati. The patrols were distributed to all regions within the framework of the security plan set by the Ministry of the Interior to maintain security and ensure the safety of citizens on New Year’s Eve.
Mawlawi told the officers and members of the security forces: “You are going through difficult days, but you have overcome the difficulties because you are heroes and stronger than the difficulties and every challenge in this country.
