NNA – Shabab Al-Sahel inflicted a first loss on Al-Ahed, the defending champion, by defeating them 1-0 in the match that took place between them this followingnoon at the Fouad Shehab Sports Complex in Jounieh, in the third stage of the 63rd Lebanese General Football League.
The injury was scored by the blue team, Fadel Antar, from a counterattack in the 87th minute, and he sent the ball of medium height to the right of goalkeeper Shaker Wehbe.
This is the first win for Al-Sahel youth this season following two draws, and the first loss for Al-Ahed following a win and a draw.
And at Imam Musa Al-Sadr Stadium in the southern town of Ansar, Al-Borg won its third consecutive victory over its host Al-Shabab Al-Ghariya 2-0.
With this victory, Al-Borg ensured that it retained the lead for the second week in a row.
