The National League clubs in consultation with their TV partner have decided on some changes to the playoffs.
It was necessary to eliminate as many uncertainties as possible. Thus, the first decision concerns the start of each final series. Previously, if the quarter-finals or semi-finals ended in 4 or 5 matches, the start of the next series was advanced by one or two dates. It is now a thing of the past. The quarter-finals (March 14), the semi-finals (March 30) and the final (April 14) will start on these dates regardless of how the playoffs go.
In addition, the “splitting”, that is to say the distribution of playoff days over 2 days will only concern the first 4 matches of the quarter-finals and semi-finals.
