National League: Lausanne and GE-Servette as favorites, but beware

The National League will experience its 2nd pre-playoffs for 2 100% Latin duels. Lausanne challenges Ambri-Piotta, while Geneva-Servette will rub shoulders with Lugano.

Lausanne and Geneva are favourites. But in a best-of-3 series, the level tends to decrease and the lower-ranked club sees its chances increase.

Ambri with a quality guard

Lausanne will have to roll up their sleeves if they intend to face Fribourg-Gottéron in the quarter-finals. Best team in 2022 with 2.32 points per game, the LHC is going through a rather good period. With a lively Riat-Fuchs-Sekac front row, offensive defenders (Genazzi, Glauser and Gernat) who don’t hesitate to support the attack and goalkeepers well on their feet, the Vaudois are well armed.

But beware of the Leventines who managed to climb into the 10 by taking 10 points from Bern. By chaining 6 successes, the Ticino people have turned the tide. With the Finnish goalkeeper Juvonen in the cage, the biancoblu have a last rampart of quality.
