National League: Biel wins for the 4th time in a row – rts.ch

HC Bienne continued their current winning streak by beating Ambri-Piotta 5-1 at home. The Seelanders, solid, now remain on four victories in a row and go back to second place in the standings.

Visitors from Ticino were largely dominated. Their defense struggled to contain the opposing attackers. The Finn Rajala (9th / 24th) and the Swede Olofsson (16th / 52nd) each scored twice, the other success for Zealand being the work of Tanner (26th). Ambri-Piotta had for his part equalized by Heim (12th).

Current 4 win streak

HC Bienne is on the rise this October. The Seelanders indeed consecutively beat the defending champion Zug (4-3 ap.), before easily dominating the newly promoted Kloten (6-2), winning at Ajoie (5-3) and therefore taking the best on Ambri (5-1).

Recently, Ambri has never been comfortable in Biel. Over the last 2 seasons, the Leventines have lost 4 times. They also recorded their first defeat of the exercise outside.
