National Identity Project 2023 Winners Honored by Archives and National Library

ABU DHABI, June 25, WAM / The Archive and the National Library at its headquarters honored the winning projects in the new edition of the National Identity Project 2023, which was under the theme of the Year of Sustainability “Today for Tomorrow”.

The honoring took place in a ceremony organized by the Archives and the National Library in its tenth session with the Emirates National Schools group and its second session with the schools of Al Dar Education Foundation.

Dr. Husnia Al-Ali, Educational Programs Consultant, emphasized the role played by the Archives and the National Library in terms of national upbringing for generations. Pointing out that these initiatives are what raise the youth of today to assume their responsibilities towards their homeland tomorrow, and considered the communication between the participating students, the archive and the national library, and the benefit they achieved from the Arab Gulf Digital Archive “AGDA” website, and the publications of the archive and the national library, and the documents, references and resources available in the library Emirates; contributed to the expansion of their perceptions and horizons of research.

She praised the cooperation and coordination shown by the Emirates National Schools Group and the schools of Al Dar Education Foundation, and the efforts of parents and teachers that contributed to the success of the project and the achievement of its educational and national goals. She congratulated the winning students and wished everyone success.

For her part, Amina Al Jabri, Head of the National Curriculum Department at Emirates National Schools, praised the projects that resulted from the cooperation with the Archive and the National Library, most notably the ninth grade national identity project, which has become an integral part of the enrichment curriculum for students’ knowledge and community projects.

Hanadi Mustafa, Head of the Arabic Language Development Group at Al Dar Education Foundation, said: We also pledge to continue our efforts to consolidate the Emirati citizen’s self-esteem, his belonging to his homeland, and his loyalty to its leadership in feeling and behavior.

More than 800 ninth-grade students in the ten branches of the Emirates National Schools participated in the national identity competitions. Where they completed 152 national community projects; In their research, they adopted the techniques of the research and survey methodology, and 37 distinguished projects reached the first positions in the finals of the qualifiers.. While 15 distinguished projects reached the final qualifiers from Al-Dar Education Foundation schools, six of which won.

The winners were honored, as Al Mamoura School came in first place for its research on “Sustainability”, and ADNOC Al Ruwais School for its research “Cyber ​​Security”, and ADNOC Sas Al Nakhl School for Boys for its research “Algebra of Thoughts”, and ADNOC SAS Al Nakhl School for Girls came in third place. About the search for “Sana Amaya”.
