Kochi: The High Court has directed the Kerala Olympic Association to decide the appropriate volleyball team to represent the state in the National Games as soon as possible. While the Kerala Sports Council and the Kerala State Volleyball Association are training each team to participate in the National Games, Justice V.G. Arun’s order. Kerala State Volleyball Assoc as they have the authority to select the team for the National Games and the Volleyball Federation of India affiliation. This order is in the petition filed. The Kerala Sports Council also explained that the team was selected following receiving an official instruction to form a committee to select the volleyball team and the petitioner questioned this but to no avail. Subsequently, the Single Bench directed the Kerala Olympic Association to take an appropriate decision in this regard.
