National Football Team Roster Revealed for Asian Cup and World Cup Qualifiers Against Yemen

The technical staff of our national football team revealed a list of 26 players, in preparation for facing the Yemen national team in the qualifiers for the Asian Cup and World Cup finals, where the first match will be held in Abu Dhabi, and the second in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sharjah 24 – Mahmoud Ali:

The technical staff of our first national football team, led by Portuguese Paulo Bento, announced the team’s roster, in preparation for facing the Yemen national team in the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals, for Group H.

The first match will be held on March 21, at Al Nahyan Stadium in the capital, Abu Dhabi, while the second match will be held at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium in the Al Khobar region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the 26th of the same month.

The list included 26 players: Khaled Issa, Khaled Tawheed, Ali Khasif, Khaled Al Hashemi, Khalifa Al Hammadi, Muhammad Al Attas, Ahmed Jameel, Khaled Al Dhanhani, Zayed Sultan, Badr Nasser, Abdullah Idris, Ali Salmeen, Yahya Nader, Muhammad Abbas, and Hazem. Mohammed, Majid Rashid, Abdullah Hamad, Tahnoon Al Zaabi, Issam Fayez, Yahya Al Ghassani, Hareb Abdullah, Fabio de Lima, Ali Saleh, Sultan Adel, Caio Canedo, and Zayed Al Ameri.

The national team will begin its gathering in Abu Dhabi, next Saturday, and perform its daily training at the New York University Stadium on Saadiyat Island following Tarawih prayers, noting that the Al Ain and Ajman players will join the camp next Sunday evening, as the technical staff gave them a rest, because they will play the match next Friday. Within the sixteenth week of the ADNOC Professional League competition.
